How do I use Inbox Pause's Delivery Exceptions (whitelist) feature?
If you're expecting urgent messages while your Inbox is paused, you can use the delivery exceptions feature to allow emails from certain senders, domains or emails with certain keywords to arrive in your Inbox instantly. Delivery exceptions are available for each account you're subscribed to Pro on. You can upgrade your Gmail account or Outlook account for access.
Once you're on Pro, first make sure the feature is enabled when pausing your Inbox.
Once it's enabled, you'll be able to use the following criteria to whitelist certain emails while your Inbox is paused:
- Sent with ! High Importance (Outlook accounts): If a sender emails you while your Inbox is paused and marks the email for ! High Importance, enable this feature if you'd like to appear in your Inbox and notify you before unpausing.
- From addresses: Don't want to miss an email from your team or important clients while your Inbox is paused? Make sure to enter their email addresses here.
- Or addressed to: Ensure emails addressed to a specific email address for your mailbox are whitelisted while others still get paused.
- Or from domain: Similar to from addresses, but more broadly, you can whitelist all emails from a specific client's domain and/or employer.
- Or with words: Ensure "urgent" "time-sensitive" and "response required" emails get through by adding those words in this box.
